The Wedding Present may have had more people in the band than The Polyphonic Spree, but they continue to kick out the jams in their second go-round. David Gedge remains vital and (regardless of who joins him on stage) has been able to add to the band’s legacy without abatement….except for that seven year period when they ceased to exist, of course.
The current iteration of the band will surely introduce their music to another generation of music lovers as they play The Iron Bear tonight at SXSW, and beyond as they tour remnants of the British Empire.
