Roundup: New Stones Movie in the Works (and It’s Not a Documentary)

Deadline Hollywood reports that Richard Branson has purchased the rights to Robert Greenfield’s book, Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones. The book tells of the band’s making of the famous album in France in 1972. Unlike the recent Stones in Exile, released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the album, this will not be a documentary, but rather a drama with a screenplay. Let the speculation begin on who might play Mick and Keef.

The Army canceled a planned performance at Fort Knox by Ted Nugent, after Nugent’s controversial comments about President Obama recently. Nugent said that he’d either be in jail or dead next year if Obama got reelected.

Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons married actress Carey Mulligan over the weekend.
