The Killers have released “Runaways”, the first single from the new album Battle Born due out in Fall.

Perry Farrell is hosting an after Lollapalooza show at the Aragon Ballroom with Jane’s Addiction, Franz Ferdinand, Skream, and Benga. It’s an all-night bash for 18 and up. Tickets are only $15 and on sale Friday.

Coldplay have been working with comic artist  Mark Osborne for three years on a Mylo Xyloto project. The 6-part comic miniseries will be released early next year. The first issue of Mylo Xyloto will be available at Comic-Con International in San Diego this Friday.

Trent Reznor has written the theme song for the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops II, as USA Today reports. The game is to be released 11/13.

Public Enemy‘s ProfessorGriff is on a national lecture & book tour for “The Psychological Covert War On Hip-Hop.”

Radiohead returned to the stage for the first show of their European tour at Les Arenes in Nimes, France last night. It was the first show since the stage collapse in Toronto and the subsequent canceled shows that followed. It was reported that they opened with “Lucky.”
