In case you missed this one, Morrisey has been named person of the year by PETA UK for helping to make the world a kinder place for animals. The former Smiths vocalist has been a vegetarian since he was eleven and is a long-time champion for animal rights.

For all his efforts for animals, we’re chuffed to bits to be naming Morrissey PETA’s 2011 Person of the Year.
