Johnny Marr To Release First Ever Solo Album

Johnny Marr, legendary guitarist for The Smiths, is preparing to release his first solo album. The Messenger will be released on February 26th on Sire/ADA.

Marr, who’s lent his iconic jangle talents to Talking Heads, The The, Modest Mouse and Electronic, wrote and produced the solo album which was recorded in Berlin and Manchester.

We at Weeping Elvis can’t wait to hear what one of our favorite guitarists has in store for us.
