- This reviewer takes the occasion of Sonic Youth’s latest mixtape release to say how he really feels about them. I hesitate to throw the word “suck” around like he does, but I’m happy to echo his sentiment that they’re overrated and sound like a “millionaire’s impression of an 8 year old with down’s syndrome.”
- And Glee‘s producer hits Kings of Leon for refusing to allow a song of theirs to be performed on the show. “Fuck you, Kings of Leon,” says Ryan Murphy in Hollywood Reporter. “They’re self-centered assholes.” Apparently, he thinks if you don’t give into Glee‘s pressure, you’re anti-arts education. OK. The Kings’ Nathan Followill retorts: “Dear Ryan Murphy, let it go. See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra. Zip your lip and focus on educating 7yr olds how to say fuck.”
