News this month from the world of power pop: Brendan Benson’s “Upstairs at United Vol. 1″, recorded inside the United Record Pressing Plant in Nashville, Tennessee is now available for sale through the Brendan Benson webstore.  This vinyl record features Brendan’s covers of songs by David Bowie, The Kinks, Randy Newman, and Elvis Costello.
